Friday, August 29th - Connexions ThirtySomethings - Preparations are underway for the first Connexions for Singles evening geared specifically for ThirtySomethings (women in their late 20s, 30s and young 40s) at Hotel Monaco in San Francisco. Support group for lesbian, bisexual, and trans women who have disabilities and/or chronic illnesses. Professionally-led support group for queer women who are looking for a safe place to discuss daily struggles, self-care, navigating the medical system, loss and grief, and asking for support.

The Butch Project is an archiving project that is collecting stories from butch identified people (including women, womyn, transmen, etc.). The stories will be used on a blog, an exhibition, and a book. These will be an attempt to bring the butch community together and provide a base of support for people who identify as butch and find struggle in that.

The Women's Building is a multi-ethnic, multi-cultural, multi-service center. Programs include a drop-in Resource Center, a comprehensive Information and Referrals program, cultural events, and facilities for special events, among others.
