Do you identify as a member of the transgender community? Do you have questions about what to wear, what to bring, or how to talk to employers? Would you like to find out how to successfully use a job fair to move your job search forward? Then come to TEEI’s (Transgender Economic Empowerment Initiative) pre-job fair workshop! Get some practical advice about how to maximize your job fair experience for the TLGB Job Fair 8.4. In this workshop you will learn how to prepare for a job fair, and gain a deeper understanding of how to network with employers and colleagues and follow up with connections. You’ll even get some resume tips! By the end of the workshop, every participant will have some tangible goals for this job fair and a strategy to reach those goals. Join us to learn how to make the job fair experience more productive for your job search and career needs! (Please bring your resume if you have one.) TRANS: THRIVE is a drop-in center by and for the trans community. Our mission is to foster a healthy trans community, empowered by the leadership of its peers. Trans Thrive houses three transgender programs. The Asian & Pacific Islander Transgender Empowerment Program(ATE), Transgender Ladies Initiating Sisterhood(T-LISH) and Trans Thrive Drop-in Facility.

The Transgender Economic Empowerment Initiative (TEEI) is hosting its FREE seventh annual Transgender Job Fair at The San Francisco LGBT Center. TEEI is the nation's first program designed to help transgender job seekers find - and keep - good jobs in safe workplaces.
