I have over 20 years experience with working with same sex couples, as well as couples and individuals in alternative families or polyamorous relationships. I have a specialty in helping cross-cultural couples cope with the complexities of merging the needs, values and lifestyles of their two cultures. When working with clients, I have identified my areas of strength working with anxiety and depression, loss and grief, traumatic life events, interpersonal struggles, life and career transitions, parenting, infertility and miscarriage, OCD and Dissociative Disorders. I consider myself an integrative therapist; incorporating cognitive behavioral techniques (CBT), as well as EMDR and EFT when appropriate.
