Born and raised in San Francisco, Satans Angel's career began in North Beach in 1961. Lighting her tassels on fire over 25,000 times all over the world throughout her 40+ year career. See her hit the stage one last time. After a world tour this past year, she has decided her last stop is her hometown, San Francisco. When you think of some of the performers from San Francisco's rich history: Clint Eastwood, Janis Joplin, Steve McQueen, Carol Doda - Satans Angel has known them all personally. She is a pioneer lesbian in the world of burlesque - getting fired from jobs because of her sexuality, she kept on. Maintaining her integrity as a burlesque artist, keeping the fire of this American art alive, and reigniting the love of this art in thousands and thousands of performers. Come see why she is one of the top performers in the world of burlesque - from yesterday to today. No one can compare to the fire and energy of her presence onstage. And, this is it. Performing as Young Satans Angel: Miss De Minna and Older Angel: Lady Monster (Satans Angel’s protégé). Featuring stories, slides and costumes from her times at San Francisco’s Condor Club, the Las Vegas Strip, Folies Bergere, and Bob Hope’s USO Tour – not to mention kiss-and-tell adventures of dating Clint Eastwood, Janis Joplin, Hedy Lamarr and Bobby Darin. After the glory of fame comes the downfall, but she rises like a Phoenix, back to being “Legend of The Year” in the Burlesque Hall of Fame in Las Vegas. You will never see this play again.
